Hailey at 15 Months

I am practicing using the word “daughter.” Hailey still seems like this cute little pet that we take care of and play with, but there’s no avoiding the fact that her personality is starting to shine.  She is in fact a little girl, and not just a little baby. That makes me a mom, which is still a new concept to me, even after 1.25 years of being a mom.  I still feel too young to be a mom, but I know that’s not the case.

Hailey now follows directions (sometimes), makes choices, and expresses her feelings.  She likes hats but not barrettes.  She knows when to offer the stink eye and when to blow a kiss.  And she is getting a ton of teeth!  The four molars are close to breaking through and we have two more teeth on  bottom.

We are getting ready for a big go-live at Mama’s work and getting ready for the holidays, so things have been busy!

Hailey loves dress ups! Hats and bracelets are her favorite.

She likes scarves and purses too.

Peek a boo is still a favorite game.

Hailey did a great job with the Christmas tree. No casualties! She is a pro at "just a touch," or touching each ornament with just one finger.
