This past month was a bit of a blur since I had to work a ton and Dan’s work schedule also picked up.
- Hailey loves books, and she can say “book,” as well as many other words. She has just started wanting to say her words and point out pictures to match anything we say. I had no idea how many words she really recognizes. She’s got her please and thank yous down, and we find this adorable, especially when she hands us things and says “thank you.”
- It also seems like animal sounds just clicked for her. This girl woofs, moos, meows, quacks, and–our favorite–acts like a monkey.
- She’s all about carbs. Not so keen on meat and veggies. Bananas and applesauce are her favorite fruits. Spaghetti and meatballs is her favorite meal, but she’ll down a bowl of plain pasta or bread before touching just about anything else.
- A basket of clean laundry is the best form of entertainment for Hailey.
