Sam’s second week of life went by in a blur. Dan was home from work again and Grandma CeCe and Gramps came for a midweek visit.
Lot’s of friends have asked about the origin of Sam’s name. We knew from the start that our little boy would continue the Hart tradition and, being the oldest son, have the middle name “John” after his great-great-grandfather Jonathan. “Samuel” is a name Dan came across in our naming research. It took a while for it grow on me, but once it did, I couldn’t imagine any other name for our little guy.
Hailey made brownie pops over the course of the week
Auntie Marie shipped us some Chicago pizza that came packed with dry ice and Hailey absolutely loved her science experiment with Dad.
Grandma CeCe made this lovely blanket for Samuel.
