Harrisburg with the Ross Family

I finally scheduled a trip to visit the Ross family out in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The trip was not only exciting because I got to see my good friends Joanna and Nate, but also because I got to meet their son, Landon (~4mo). And what a cutie he is!

Chilling with Landon

I enjoyed spending time with the baby. Not sure if it makes me more or less excited to have a baby of my own some day, but I do get more comfortable around babies as more of our friends keep popping them out.

Joanna was my first really good new friend in Louisville. It was great to just talk about anything and just hang out like we used to do.

Joanna, Landon, and Me

Joanna also treated me to a day at Chocolate World. We did the make-your-own Hershey bar, which is not nearly as glamorous as it sounds. We got all suited up in aprons, hairnets, and gloves–even Landon had to wear a hairnet!–to “design” our candy bar via touchscreen monitors and then watch an assembly line go to work. Not quite as hands-on as we were hoping, but not a bad way to spend the day.

What baby doesn't need a hair net?
