Happy 1/2 year to little Sam! This guy knows how to turn on the charm at 6 months. His smiles are free-flowing and his eyes always bright.
This kid has been eagerly drooling over our food for the past couple of weeks, so we busted out the old baby spoons and introduced him to some rice cereal and green beans. Sam does not mess around when it comes to eating. If you wait too long before the next bite, he grabs your hand and pulls it towards his mouth. He’s got some muscle, so you better be ready to go with each bite!
For his half birthday, I bought Sam some new 9 month sleepers. The 6 month stuff is getting tight on his long torso while he’s still swimming in his pants. Seems like he has the Hart physique. He’s all about covering some ground with his rolling and sometimes with his scooting. His hair is also growing in. I think Hailey had more hair at this age, but hers may still have been in the falling out stage.
Sam is still a dream in that he sleeps through the night. Every night. Amazing! He likes to hang out in his exersaucer and he’s into his toys. Hailey loves delivering toys when he is fussing. No teeth yet, but he’s a drool machine and has had some fussier moments, so maybe he’s working on some chompers.
I can’t get enough of this kid. He’s just so sweet and chill that I can ‘t help but enjoy him. I could just eat him up.
