Nuture Shock

I decided to pick up a book about child rearing since I guess I will be rearing a child soon enough.  Nuture Shock was a random pick since it was available from the library as an audio book.  This book is in the style of Malcolm Gladwell, but much more applicable to life right now.  The book explored a number of theories around praising children, how children learn to speak, and similar topics.  I should probably skim the book again in a couple years–or read the latest publication on the same topics–because I’m sure this stuff will be more memorable in context.  As far as I know, I think this was a great read.  I guess I’ll have to reevaluate when I have some parenting experience under my belt.
