Yes, I am overdue for a bumpdate. It has been a busy few weeks here. I guess that is the norm. Today’s is 2 months from the due date. These 2 months are going to fly!
- Working hard on thank you’s and the nursery. I am in awe of all the adorable baby stuff and we are working to get everything washed and put away so we are ready for prime time.
- We have been going to all the classes the hospital has to offer about the birthing process. It’s good to know what to expect, but I have to make sure I don’t dwell on the details too much. It’s just going to go however it’s going to go.
- Baby Girl is moving more and more. She really likes hanging out on my right side. Her movements are strong enough that they have even woken up Dan in the middle of the night if he is snuggled up with his baby.
- Thank you Pepcid for helping me sleep at night. I typically fall asleep propped up on a huge pile of pillows and comforter. Dan calls it my preggo nest. And I’m getting better at choosing foods and timing my eating to minimize the reflux. Still can’t give up chocoloate though.
- Memorable conversations from the week….Elaine: “What are we going to do with this baby?” Dan: “I don’t know.”……Dan: “Hi, Baby.” Elaine: “Hi.” Dan: “Not you.”
- Starting to feel a lot of drag in the pool. This bump is getting bigger and fast. I’m starting to get awkward around the house and I’m tiring more easily. Guess that’s what happens.
I cheated. This is actually early on in week 31.
