By the end of week 39, I was ready to have this baby. It occurred to me that maybe she wouldn’t come early because I hadn’t invited her out. So I did that, reassuring her that we will still feed and care for her and carry her around. It would just be easier to carry her on the outside rather than on the inside. So, Baby Girl, come on out and take a breath of fresh air. We are ready to love you!
My doc still thinks it will be a while. I am holding steady at 1cm dilation. More braxton hicks contractions, but nothing else too notable. We are scheduled for an ultrasound on 9/10 to see how big Baby Girl is and start understanding when we should consider inducing. I am still keepingmy fingers crossed that she might decide tonight’s the night so we can skip all the talk about inducing.
Eddie has been acting funny this week, and he actually snuggled up with the bump the other night. I keep asking him if he knows something I don’t know….maybe he can smell the baby coming 🙂
