Yes, everyone was correct: time flies like crazy! Here are some highlights from Hailey’s first month on the outside.

- Weight: 9 lb. 1oz., 50%
- Height: 21 in., 50%
- Head Circumference: 14.5 in., 50%
- Hailey loves to stretch. We know she has no idea what she is doing, and we swaddle her often so she can calm herself down. Here’s my favorite video of her giving her arms a nice stretch. Since the video is too large to post here, I put it on Facebook so friends can view it.
- Hailey has discovered what it means to be fussy. She is not yet game for sitting in a swing or bouncy chair for more than 5-10 minutes without screaming. Mom is getting used to lowering her expectations for what can be accomplished in a day.
Screamy Baby!
- Eddie is a little better around Hailey. We have had some family snuggle moments, but typically, Eddie is so excited about licking Hailey that we can’t leave them in proximity. Turns out Eddie likes her sweet breastmilky face better than he likes my lotion legs.
Snuggle Time
- Her hair keeps on growing. I am jealous of her volume.
Good Hair Day or Bad Hair Day?
- She loves her ladybug mirror that we propped up on her changing table. She is even starting to reach for it a bit. As a result, she just loves being on her changing table.
- Hailey also loves bath time. She chills out and just stares out the window.
Clean Baby
- Hailey’s biggest outing included a trip to the salon, lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, and a visit to Mom’s office. She did great!

- This modern day baby loves to Skype with Grandma CeCe.
