Happy three months to Hailey! Things don’t seem entirely different than they did a month ago with the exception that I have gone back to work. More on that in another post, if I ever get to it.
- We have ourselves one happy baby! Hailey loves to smile is has learned to laugh. She does both often, and that makes it so much fun to play with her.
- She loves “standing up” and working out her legs. We call her our standy baby since she will hold onto your thumbs and wobble around upright as often as you let her.
- She can self soothe and self entertain. How nice to just lay her down in her crib awake and come back in fifteen to find a sleeping baby. Not all the time, but most of the time this works.
- While singing used to help soothe her, she now loves songs and music. Jingle Bell Rock is a favorite, as is Rubber Ducky.
It’s hard to think of many other new developments. The biggest change is that everything has seemed easier and more intuitive for me. I am loving this little age.
Dan is a trooper for battling the bottle fight.
